Brock is 14 years old and races quarter midgets in the Region 5 area. He races most of the time at the Christian County Quarter Midget Association (CCQMA) located in Taylorville, Illinois. He started racing in the Junior Novice division in 2004. He later moved up to the Junior Honda class. When the 2004 racing season came to an end, Brock had brought home over 30 trophies. He finished 9th out of 35 in points at our home track, CCQMA. On Saturday nights, we raced at MSLQMRA in Bunker Hill, Illinois. Brock finished 4th out of 12 drivers in their point series.
In 2005, Brock moved to the Sr. Honda class. He finished 5th at the March Madness series at I-70QMA in Greenville, won the Mid-Season Championship at MSLQMRA as well as finishing 3rd in their point series and finished 5th in the CCQMA point series.
Then in 2006, Brock began the year with a 4th place finish in Sr. Honda and 5th place in Lt. 160 for I-70QMA's March Madness. Afterwards, he began racing in the Lt. 160 class and the new World Formula class. He won the World Formula championship at MSLQMRA.
The 2007 season brought us some suprises. We decided not to race as much on Saturday nights to give our family a break. Brock's season ended on a very happy note. For the first time, he will receive two regional trophies. In Lt. 160, Brock finished 10th and in World Formula, he will accept a 6th place trophy. Brock worked especially hard during the CCQMA point series. He finished 4th in the Lt. 160 class and 6th in the World Formula division. In 2008, Brock will move up to the heavy classes.
2008 was the first year for Heavy 160. Brock was co-champion at CCQMA in Heavy 160. Other finishes include 5th in World Formula at CCQMA. Regional points finished
5th in Heavy 160 and 8th in World Formula.
For the 2009 season, we bought two used Ashley Chassis cars for Brock. He will continue to race in the Heavy 160 and World Formula classes. We will race mostly at CCQMA but will also run at ALQMA, I-70QMA, MSLQMRA and THQMA. Brock won the Heavy 160 championship at CCQMA. He finished 5th in Heavy 160 Region 5 points and 6th in the World Formula class for regional points.
