Shelby is 9 years old and the little sister of Brock. She is a 4th Grader at North Mac Elementary - Virden and a straight A student. Shelby began racing in the Jr. Novice class in late 2005 and continued into 2006. She has raced at ALQMA, I-70QMA, MSLQMRA, THQMAand CCQMA. In 2007, she raced in the Jr. Honda division. She was getting bored and wanted to go faster!! She finished 9th in the CCQMA Jr. Honda class and 13th in the Region 5 Jr. Honda class. In 2008 Shelby raced in the Jr. Honda and Jr. Stock classes. She drove Bullrider cars and was excited and ready. Shelby finished 10th in Jr. Honda and 5th in Jr. Stock at CCQMA. In regional points she finished 12th in Jr. Honda and 5th in Jr. Stock.
During the 2009 racing season, things have changed for Shelby. She decided to sell her two Bullriders and buy one Ashley Chassis. She will race mainly Jr. Honda except for the regionals she will run Jr. Stock. Shelby finished 9th in Jr. Honda points at CCQMA and 6th for Jr. Stock Region 5 points. Now that Shelby has turned 9, she will race in the Sr. Honda class which is unrestricted.
In 2010 Shelby will race Sr. Stock at the regionals and Sr. Honda at the local races.
